Meet Veronica Gonzalez...

For me, styling is helping women look good and feel amazing.

My journey has been a perfect imperfection of many sorts. Have you ever seen a really beautiful confident woman; maybe she wasn’t in her best physical shape or didn’t have perfect skin but she radiated confidence and for some reason it made you feel weak and intimidated? For a very long time, I was that weak and self-conscious woman. I struggled with self-confidence in my love life, in my body, and my well-being and all of that reflected back in my personal style and confidence.

Maybe you can relate.

The terrifying thing I dreaded every morning was looking at myself in the mirror. I wasn’t happy with the person I saw in the mirror but why? I was always being told I was beautiful from complete strangers, but I didn’t see the person they saw when I would look at myself in the mirror. Growing up as a Latina woman you are told so many things you should and shouldn’t do, don’t have a boyfriend too young, don’t get pregnant, find a man to take care of you, be a good and caring wife and the list goes on. It was hard for me to find a voice of self-expression.

The terrifying thing I dreaded every morning was looking at myself in the mirror.

I knew that I wasn’t born to be the traditional Mexican woman who just settles down, gets married, and dedicates her life to taking care of a man. Twenty four  about to turn twenty five, staring at myself in the mirror it was Me vs Me. All the things I had told myself that I didn’t want to become I was and somehow I had led myself into that. Thankfully I was able to wake up from the nightmare I was living, I had tied myself down to a man, had moved across the country for him and had been dedicating the last two yrs of life to a man who hadn’t yet proposed and had no idea if he truly loved me?!  I knew I had the choice to get up and make the difference in me and in my life. So at that point I packed my bags and flew back to southern California and never looked back. I- took some steps back and asked myself, what do I enjoy doing the most even if I never get paid to do it? What would it be? I truly and genuinely enjoy making a difference in a woman’s life every day, especially Latina women. Helping a woman understand that her beauty and confidence come from within; and all that you are told growing up comes from someone who doesn’t know any better than you, a tradition of old beliefs. Your exterior features you have are just a bonus, and for some of us Latinas we have that extra bonus because your hips don’t lie, embrace them!

There’s nothing special about me except that I made a conscious choice to step into a role of a powerful women business owner + started living my life with a zero-excuse policy.

Why am I telling you all of this?

Because I know what it’s like to be tired and frustrated. I know what it’s like to be living in a world that says only other women are born perfect like the Kardashians or models. I know what it is like to feel that pampering yourself is selfish, that wanting to feel or look good is wrong or vain.

It’s time to create a new story. Because the old story of self-cautiousness, self-doubt, insecurities, is seriously not SELF-WORTHY and NOT YOU!

“So, I said to my body, softly, ‘I want to be your friend.’ It took a long breath. And replied, ‘I have been waiting my whole life for this’.”

My life and work’s mission is to help women, entrepreneur women find self-love, acceptance, freedom, and confidence and create a personal style that they desire and deserve.
